NSIRH and Kenyatta National Hospital Sign MoU to Strengthen Spinal Injury Care

On 14 Apr 2026, Director Medical Services of National Spinal Injury Referral Hospital (NSIRH), Dr. Kibet P. Shikuku, and Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) CEO, Dr. Richard Lesiyampe, led the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance collaboration between the two institutions.

This partnership will strengthen spinal injury care—from surgical management to rehabilitation—while advancing research, skills development, and improved diagnostic services.

Also present were NSIRH HOD Health Administration and Corporate Services Dr. Linda Kigera, NSIRH HOD Integrated Health Services Dr. Andrew Muriithi, Pauline Makena and Dr. Mang'oli Paul (KNH), and Dr. Museve George (UoN).

Together, the institutions reaffirm their commitment to advancing patient care and strengthening Kenya’s healthcare system.
