A comprehensive referral letter from a registered medical practitioner is required for non-emergency admissions. It should include the patient's diagnosis, current treatment, and the specific reason for referral to NSIRH.
We accept the Social Health Authority (SHA) and most major Kenyan corporate insurance schemes. Contact our Finance Unit on 0722-626-641 before admission to confirm your specific policy coverage and pre-authorisation requirements.
We accept payment via M-Pesa Paybill 222-222 (with a unique account number from the cashier), eCitizen bank transfer, and credit/debit card at the main cashier's office. See our Payments page for step-by-step instructions.
